So, How Much Should You Budget?

There is no responsible way to give an exact price for a custom Toronto home without understanding the property and the design.

As a broad starting point, current Toronto/GTA sources commonly place custom construction within approximately $400–$800+ per square foot, with sophisticated luxury homes capable of exceeding that range.

But the square-foot number should be treated as an early planning tool—not a quote.

The most accurate budget comes from reviewing the property, drawings, structural requirements, specifications and desired level of finish together.

Building With Clarity

A successful custom home is not simply about choosing beautiful finishes. It requires careful planning, realistic budgeting, experienced trades, disciplined project management and clear communication throughout construction.

At Evandale Homes, our approach is built around transparency. We work with homeowners, architects, designers, engineers and trades to understand the project in detail, establish realistic expectations and manage the construction process from beginning to end.

And by using a flat management fee rather than a percentage that automatically increases with construction spending, we aim to keep our interests aligned with those of our clients:

Build the home properly. Protect the budget. And deliver exceptional value.
